Tohickon relocates to beautiful new HQ
After almost eleven years at our Holicong office—and serious space issues for the last two of those—Tohickon Settlement Services pulled up stakes and moved down the road to 6464 Lower York Road, Suite B.
Well, that statement certainly makes it sound effortless, doesn’t it? In truth, it was a lot of work by a lot of people including our own Tohickon staff.
Starting in the fall of 2018, contractors gutted and then renovated some 4200 square feet of space adjacent to the historic stone building that houses John Augenblick’s Rockwood Wealth Management. The builders added several new windows and walls, closed off some others and generally opened up the interior before finishing it in “Tohickon blue,” a serene, rich color that incorporates a touch of gray.
“Tohickon has grown significantly in the last two years,” says Brendan Nolan, president and CEO of the firm that was launched in Bucks County by his mother and stepfather in 1976. “In 2018 alone, we acquired two title companies and their affiliates, as well as more staff to meet the needs of our growing client list.
“We’d outgrown our Holicong offices a while ago, so we were all pretty excited to make the move over the weekend between March 8 and March 11. It’s a true pleasure for all of us to be working in this freshly renovated space. Plus, we all have plenty of room to meet with our clients and conduct our title and settlement business.”
The 4,200-square-foot suite includes a welcoming lobby and comfortable waiting area, staff offices, break room, ample supplies storage, a small meeting room that’s ideal for private conferences, plus two conference rooms that accommodate settlements and can be combined for large team meetings. Special thanks to Schilling Contractors of Doylestown and to Joseph Litton for his creative vision.
The space is beautiful and practical for our clients as well as for our Tohickon team. Come on by to see: It looks gorgeous!
